I am Steve Valencia, a Freelance Journalist with a B.A. in Journalism from California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH).
Prior to studying communications, I was employed by Freedom Communications, Inc., the parent company of The Orange County Register (OCRegister). While working at the OCRegister, I navigated my way through various departments within that news organization that later inspired me to study journalism. Working under the direction of the Editor in Chief, I obtained valuable knowledge into the writing styles and ABC rules for newspapers and magazines.
Through my education and professional experience, I am constantly learning and adapting to the ever changing ways of covering news. My focus is to continue producing content for my independent news medium, 2musicplus.com ™, and also to work on collaborations wherever there is news.
I enjoy covering the arts and entertainment scene (A & E), all the way down to the intimate concerts that are held in smaller historical venues, as well as sporting events and in case it wasn’t noted; writing honest unsponsored articles on food fare wherever I go.
I look forward to leaving my journalism footprint by producing content that will anchor my brand and image in the industry.
